History/Background Story: Miran was born into a large family of other sandshrew, his mother being a Sandslash. The Sandshrew in Miran’s desert had a specified mating season, so Miran did not know who his father was.
Miran and his family lived underground most of the time, his mother providing food for him and the others. This was very boring to Miran, since no one would ever talk to him, so he begged his mother to take him with her next time she went out. The Sandslash finally allowed him to come hunt with her, taking Miran farther into the desert. He found traveling such an exciting thing that he went with his mother every time she hunted. When Miran grew older, he decided to leave the family to travel around the world, searching for adventure.
He traveled, interested in everything and everyone. He found he hated water, loved the sounds of the winds on a mountain, and was soothed by the simplicity of a forest. Every sound, sensation, and sight fascinated Miran, from the solid rock to the tickling grass. He met many different pokemon, befriending them, learning things about their home and habitat. Miran had learned much on his travels, and still learns things on his recent ones. The Sandshrew can be found wandering anywhere across the massive continent.
